Ate at the bar, bartenders Laura and Joseph were working that night. I ordered the clams casino app and the "small" fillet medium rare. The clams arrived in short order but seemed to have been broiled too long as they smelled and tasted burnt. I told Joe this and he immediately took the plate away and had the kitchen redo them. The replacement arrived quickly and was very good. The fillet was cooked exactly as ordered and may have been the best piece of steak I ever had! I realize that "stuff happens", it's how these issues are handled that tells you about a place. I have nothing but good things to say about my meal and Old Homestead in general.

Dining here was a delight. We were in town to celebrate a retirement and Old Homestead delivered a memorable meal. Clean, inviting and treated like VIP's - we were comfortably seated. Tables here are not "on top" of each other allowing for privacy. Specials were explained in detail and our server was accommodating and patient as we reviewed the special Cocktail and Wine list. It was an enjoyable meal of side salads, Filet Mignon, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Onion Rings. Side Salads, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Onion Rings were generous portions that 5 people had plenty to eat. Everything was cooked perfectly as ordered and then served at the correct temperature.

The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the clams and creamed spinach. I had some dessert wine and it was pretty good. The service was excellent and had a really soothing ambiance.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary in Atlantic City and booked a table at Old Homestead, having dined at the original in lower Manhattan. First impressions... Much more modern and very classy decor. Much larger than the original. Service was extremely warm and friendly. My wife and I both went with 8oz filets which were cooked to perfection. The hash browns that accompanied the steaks were also tasty, but I do wish it didn't get soaked up in the steak sauce. The bread that came with dinner was a nice bonus, we even took some back home with us. And the final surprise was a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. All in all, a great dinning experience. Highly recommend

Food way great and restaurant had a nice classic steakhouse ambiance. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly even as ordered rare, wedge salad was huge, and sides were good too. Wouldn't get the burrata salad again cause it came with golden and red beets which were kinda sweet and random, as tomatoes would make more sense. Servers were nice and attentive, and the restaurant had nice high ceilings and a very open comfortable feel.

Wow! Simply wow! I apologize for not getting pictures but I have to say this was one of my favorite restaurants I've tried in 2024 and I can understand why it is so hard to get a seat/reservation. We started with 2 salads and a bottle of wine. The kids had juices and all of us really appreciated the start to the meal. The salads were huge and very tasty. From there we went on to have a steak for me, chicken parm for the wife, and the linguini with basil for the kids. Quite simply the food was spectacular and plentiful. We also had the berries and cream desert with some after dinner drinks. All in all the service and food were top notch. Oh and the ambiance of this place is perfect for date sir small groups. While dark, there is great focused lighting over tables. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out.

Old Homestead, thank you for a lovely dinner in AC. As soon as you walk in, you're transported to a space away from the crazy gambling vibes. The decor here feels like a cozy library. Everything from food, service, drinks were all great! I would skip the calamari - wasn't anything to write home about. The steak was incredible. PSA: the portions are generous. The lobster mac and cheese was like an entree, not a side. Would highly recommend!

I am not quite sure what took me so long to dine at Old Homestead but now that I have it just may have become a must dine here" situation every time I visit Borgata because OMG IT WAS SPECTACULAR!!! I went in to grab a seat at the bar for dinner around 8:30pm and the restaurant and bar was pretty lively. I was immediately greeted by the bartender Rico (who is absolutely AMAZING overall and not just as a bartender) and he gave me a menu and began making the espresso martini I ordered. The espresso martini was SLAMMING ... perfectly balanced and delicious and packed the punch I needed. I ordered the wedge salad and the bone in ribeye for my entree and as I waited for the food I was also served warm and delicious rolls and butter. When my food arrived I was shocked at how LARGE the portions were and also at the beautiful plating of the wedge. All I can say is that both items were hands down DELICIOUS and my steak was cooked absolutely perfectly! I of course had leftovers which were nicely packaged for me (& I will have enough for 2 more meals). Truly an overall wonderful dining experience because of the service, ambiance and food and I will definitely be back every time I'm staying at Borgata.

Get: The bread, the Gotham bone-in steak, and the Caesar salad My father and I had an okay experience at Hells Kitchen, so we came to Old Homestead to get our steak craving fulfilled. The service here is top notch! Our water was always refilled and they gave us some extra bread to take home. The friendliness of the support staff really sticks out in my mind and made this a great experience. Everything that we ordered tasted delicious. My father opted for the bigger cut of filet mignon and I was impressed at the size. My Gotham bone-in steak was perfectly cooked a medium rare. The prices here are fair considering how much food you get! We were stuffed that I didn't get a chance to order dessert but I will the next time I am in AC.

Enjoyed dinner very much, but it sure isn't cheap. $$$. My date and I had one cocktail each and split the burrata salad as well as 6 oysters on the half shell as appetizers. Then we split the sirloin steak, garlic mashed potatoes, salt & pepper brussel sprouts, and sauteed broccoli. I also had a cup of coffee. $240. The ambiance was classy steakhouse. The service was warm and attentive. I would visit again if seeing a show at Borgata for a special night. Make sure you make reservations!
